Veterans Sacrifice
Veterans may think that we don’t appreciate them, But without the blood they shed and the lives they gave, we wouldn’t have the freedom we have today. The veterans bravely fought for our freedom, they sacrificed their lives. For that they should be honored. They provided freedom for our country.
First the bravery of soldiers the veterans still are “This Nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it’s the home of the brave” Elmer Davis. Veterans are soldiers and they are very brave for what they’ve done. They put aside their lives to be brave for their country. They bravely went through battles, watching their friends get killed and knowing that they could get killed at any minute.
The veterans also gave our country freedom. Veterans had given up everything to free the country. They risked their lives and some even got brutally injured. Mainly they didn’t do it for themselves, when your in a war you have to be very unselfish.
The veterans also had to make many sacrifices. They left their families, leaving behind wives, parents, and children. They sacrificed their lives and memories. They now will always remember the wars. Some scary memories will follow them forever.
The veterans have been through a lot, and sacrificed a lot. We should honor them for the freedom of our country. Their bravery and sacrifices made the United States of America what it is today.
